At Maloney-Shamie Vision Institute, our goal is to make your vision correction procedure fit any budget. Financial considerations should not be an obstacle in having the procedure that will make a difference in your vision, and your life. Patients can choose to pay with any of the following options to make their procedure more affordable.

  • $0 down, 0% interest 24-month financing with CareCredit
  • $0 down & low monthly payments with a fixed interest rate for up to 60 months with CareCredit
  • Flex Spending/Health Savings Account funds
  • Cash, check, or credit card

At MSVI, we offer you flexibility and affordability.

Many of our patients have compared the cost of glasses and contact lenses over a ten-year period to the cost of LASIK surgery and many have found that their LASIK surgery and other procedures are a more economical option. Designer frames, contacts, lens solutions, eye doctor visits and high tech lenses can exceed thousands of dollars in only a few years. Financing LASIK or cataract surgery can be arranged just as you would finance a home improvement or a new car.

      Tax Free Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts, or FSAs, utilize the tax codes to allow pre-tax income to be set aside to pay for medical costs, typically between $3000 and $4000.

Your tax advisor will set it up if you meet the requirements. The FSAs are an option if you have a job based health plan. If not, there may be other Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) that are a better option for you.

      Lines of Credit

For many patients who own their home, arranging a line of credit is another way of financing your eye care procedures. In this case, the interest on your loan may be tax deductible, making the cost of financing your procedure more affordable.
