Farid Eghbali, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Farid Eghbali, clinical director at the Maloney Vision Institute, specializes in the preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of patients at Maloney Vision Institute. He also practices privately in Beverly Hills and Burbank.

Dr. Eghbali also serves as an assistant clinical professor in ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA School of Medicine, as assistant professor at the Southern California College of Optometry.

Dr. Eghbali has also served as co-investigator for several FDA contact lens clinical trials, is on the board of examiners for the State Board of Optometry, Consumer Affairs, and has testified as an expert witness for various cases.

Dr. Eghbali's education includes a General Biology major at John Hopkins University, both a Bachelor's degree in Visual Science and a Doctorate of Optometry with honors from Southern California College of Optometry, and a Fellowship in Contact Lens/Cornea at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA School of Medicine.

Dr. Eghbali has published more than 27 articles or abstracts, given more than 75 presentations relating to eye disease, refractive surgery and contact lenses, and has been featured on both television and radio programs such as "Vision and You," "You and the World of Medicine," and "You and the Physician."
