Dr. Nolan Ng
Dr. Nolan Ng specializes in the preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of patients at Maloney Vision Institute.
Dr. Ng brings many years of expertise in the vision corrective surgery field. His previous positions include Refractive Clinic Medical Director at Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in Phoenix, Arizona, Clinical Staff Physician for the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute Laser Refractive Center, and staff doctor for Laser Centers of America. He has also served in private practice and has managed several large retail Optometric practices for several years in the Los Angeles area.
Dr. Ng achieved both a Doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, Tennessee, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He has been awarded various accolades which include the Gold Key Optometric Honor Society’s Outstanding Leadership award, and Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals.
Dr. Ng has given numerous presentations in the field of refractive surgery, and is involved with several FDA clinical trials. His expertise includes the areas of Cataract and Implantable Contact Lens (ICL) surgery, accommodating lenses, and multi-focal lenses, as well as LASIK.
Dr. Ng also serves as an Expert Examiner for the National Board of Optometry for new doctors seeking licensure.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association and has served on the Board of the South Bay Optometric Society, as well as Rotary Club International. He also reaches out to the indigent by dedicating his time through VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity).
When he finds time, he enjoys snow skiing, tennis, roller blading, martial arts, and traveling with his wife and daughter, as well as participating in various community and civic activities.
