What if I have other questions?
Feel free to call us and we’ll be happy to answer any questions.
My staff can answer scheduling, insurance, or other common
questions, while I’m happy to answer the medical and surgical
ones. This guide covers certain highlights about cataract and
refractive lens surgery, and it’s not meant to be the ‘informed
consent’ that you’ll read prior to the actual surgery. You’re
welcome to have a copy of the informed consent to review in
detail at any time. Remember that all surgery has some degree
of risk, though it may be very small and very rare.
There may be special considerations for patients with diabetes,
glaucoma, high degrees of myopia or astigmatism, and for
those over age 75. Please write down any questions that you
may have on the last page of this book and bring it with you on the day of your consultation.
